Federer, Sampras, dan Tenis Indonesia

Roger Federer kembali unjuk keperkasaan dengan memenangi trofi Grand Slam ke-16 dengan menjuarai Australia Terbuka, Minggu (31/1/2010). Petenis unggulan utama dan nomor satu dunia asal Swiss itu hanya menghadapi perlawanan ketat di set ketiga dari petenis Inggris Andy Murray untuk unggul 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 di laga pamungkas. Sebaliknya bagi Murray, kekalahan itu membuat petenis kelahiran Glasgow, Skotlandia itu masih harus bermimpi mengenai trofi Grand Slam pertamanya. Sedangkan masyarakat pecinta tenis Inggris, kembali harus menunggu setelah 74 tahun tidak pernah satu pun petenis negeri itu memenangi trofi Grand Slam. Sebenarnya saya tak terlalu suka dengan tenis. Alasan utama karena tenis bukanlah olahraga full body contact kayak sepakbola. OCBC resmi miliki Bank of Singapore

Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (OCBC Bank) secara resmi menyelesaikan proses akuisisi ING Asia Private Bank Limited dan anak perusahaannya (IAPB) yang berbasis di Singapura dengan investasi sekitar US$1,446 juta atau Sin$2,024 juta. Dengan telah selesainya proses akuisisi tersebut, maka IAPB yang kini berganti nama menjadi Bank of Singapore Limited (Bank of Singapore), resmi menjadi anak perusahaan yang dimiliki sepenuhnya oleh OCBC Bank. Bank of Singapore akan dipimpin oleh Renato (Bing) de Guzman, yang sebelumnya juga menjabat sebagai CEO IAPB. Seluruh kegiatan usaha Private Banking IAPB dan OCBC Bank akan digabungkan dan beroperasi sebagai Bank of Singapore.
