Who bought ULTJ shares?

 The decision of life insurance company owned by Salim Group, PT Indolife Pensiontama, to sell all shares of PT Ultra Jaya Milk Industry Tbk. (ULTJ) attracted the attention of capital market participants.

ULTJ's stock sales transaction made an average of transactions on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Thursday (13/8/2020) to surge into two-digit precisely to 10.6 trillion rupiah. The value of transactions on the exchanges is far above the average of RP8 trillion to RP9 trillion.

Indolife sells ULTJ shares with a total transaction of 2.08 trillion rupiah. The Securities company that act on selling shares controlled by the Salim group is Shinhan Sekuritas Indonesia (Broker code AH). The sales transaction was made as much as 79 times.

While the securities that buy all the shares of ULTJ released are Net securities (Broker code: OK). The traded shares reached 1,300,847,400 shares.  Then who is the buyer of ULTJ shares from Salim group?

Based on the data of Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) as per 13 August 2020, which was viewed on Monday, (17/8/2020) The share buyer of ULTJ's Salim group was Sabana Prawira Widjaja.

Sabana Prawira Widjaja, (written in the annual report of Sabana Prawirawidjaja Company), is the pioneer generation in the dairy business that started in 1958. ULTJ was founded by his father Ahmad Prawirawidjaja.

With this purchase, the shares on the behalf of Sabana Prawira Widjaja in KSEI jumped from 791,675,200 shares or 6.85 percent to 2,091,675,200 shares or 18.10 percent.

The other shareholders are PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry and Trading Company Tbk (ULTJ), which is actively re-purchasing shares in the capital market. Based on the same data, stock ownership of Tresury reaches 1,155,352,800 shares or 10 percent equivalent.

THE RICHEST MAN in INDONESIA

While in the openness on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the shareholders of ULTJ as of July 31, which is Sabana Prawira with ownership of 32.12 percent. Details of the founding shares as much as 25.27 percent plus shares of the collective deposited 6.85 percent.

Furthermore, ULTJ shareholders are PT. Prawirawidjaja Pra-Karsa with ownership of 21.40 percent. As well as PT Ultajaya Milk Industry and Trading Company TBK., which when the report was delivered to IDX held 6.83 percent of the company's shares.

The company's shares were held by Indolife (14.19 percent). However this number continues to shrink. Even as of 12 August 2020 or the day before Sabana Prawira bought many shares of Indolife, the portion of ownership of Salim Group in ULTJ remaining 12.93 percent, as for public ownership noted at 25.46 percent.

With the purchase of shares from Indolife, the total shares of Sabana in ULTJ increased drastically to 43.28 percent.

Forbes magazine puts Sabana as one of the richest people in Indonesia. According to Forbes, the wealth owned by Savanna in 2019 was US $915 million or increased from the previous year US $640 million.

With its wealth value, the 80-year-old Sabana Prawira is listed at 36 on the richest person list last year.

Meanwhile, PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk. (ULTJ) Recorded positive performance in the first half of this year.

Based on financial report data as of June 30, 2020 published in Bisnis Indonesia Monday (3/8/2020), the company recorded a total sales of RP3, 02 trillion.

The sales realization rose 1.55 per cent annually from the same period gains of the previous year at RP2,97 trillion.

The company also recorded a profit on the exchange rate of Rp45,52 billion, inversely proportional to the previous year's loss position of Rp24,2 billion.

As for, the year profit that can be attributed to the owner of the parent entity increased 9.12 percent annually to Rp554,95 billion.

The manufacturer of packaging dairy products Ultra Milk and Teh Kotak also scored an increase in equity to RP6, 2 trillion and decreased liabilities to Rp849,09 billion when compared to the end of 2019 last year.

The achievement made the company's total assets increased 6.75 percent compared to the December 2019 period to RP7,05 trillion.

Meanwhile cash and cash equivalents at the end of the company period decreased to RP1, 88 trillion.
