Suryainti’s assets corrected in 2009

PT Suryainti Permata Tbk posted 8.56% asset decline in 2009 since they had to settle the interest expense.
President Director of Suryainti Permata Henry J.Gunawan on a press statement to Indonesia Stock Exchange revealed that the company’s asset was valued at IDR1.64 trillion in the end of 2009, a decline by 8.58% compared to 2008 figure.
“The significant decline of the asset value was mainly contributed by the withdrawal of the short-term investment and the payment of interest expense,” he said.
Yet, as Henry added, the company’s total liabilities during 2009 reached IDR800.13 billion or declined 19.74% compared to 2008.
The company’s earnings in 2009 was corrected to IDR3.7 billion or considerably dropped 96.54% compared to 2008, leaving the company with IDR6.7 billion operating loss.
In 2009, Henry said the company posted IDR43 billion net income due to the revision on tax regulation.
Apart from that, as he added, his company is ready to alter the orientation of their property projects from middle-up residence to condominiums and hotels in Surabaya.
